At Gordon Crichton Lighting, we're a family business has been around longer than probably any other lighting shop in New Zealand.
The First shop opened 80 Yrs ago in 1936 as a wholesale company serving farmers throughout the region. It was firstly in George St then Filluel St and now is at 90 Crawford Street.
Graeme Facer bought the then-wholesale business in 1975 and in the late 80's a son, Steve Facer, joined him. A bit later, in the late 90's his other son Alan Facer joined the team. It's been a truly family business all this time.
